Time

I’m not afraid of death, I’m afraid of time. Death is a natural thing. It’s part of us. We’re partially dead even when we’re alive. And even in death, life thrives. Death is our fate. Our destiny. Life is an arrow pointing to death. Some say living is dangerous. It’s not. The worst thing that can happen to you is to die. And that’s just what’s going to happen anyway. That’s inevitable.

There are two things: the past and the future. And there’s a line keeping them apart. We call it present. As past takes over, it pushes present forward and future dies out. There’s hope in future, but past is lost. We live our lives trying to reach an unreachable future. As we advance, past leads the journey destroying the aimed future. Present is a tiny and blurry line, but it’s still the only reachable thing.
